Stakeholders in the aviation industry have been assured of improved business environment for the mutual benefit of all concerned.

The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria(FAAN), Engr. Saleh Dunoma stated this while receiving the newly appointment Managing Director of SKyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) Mr RizwanKadri, in his office in Lagos.

Engr.Dunoma, according to a statement issued by FAN’s General Manager, Corporate Affairs, YakubuDati, described SAHCOL as a critical stakeholder in the aviation sector and therefore deserved his agency’s sustained support.

Earlier, the Managing Director of SAHCOL, Mr. RizwanKadri said he was on a familiarisation visit aimed at strengthening the cordial working relationship between the two organisations.

Mr  Kadri also extended an invitation to the FAAN boss for a facility tour of the Ultra Modern Warehouse of the organization which has improved it’s capacity for service delivery.

The Managing Director who  was accompanied by his senior management team promised to contribute his quota to the growth of the aviation sector.

 Meanwhile, FAAN has said that successful candidates who applied for and participated in the Aviation Security (AVSEC) recruitment exercise last yearwould soon be invited for interview and other pre-employment procedures.

Managing Director of FAAN, Engineer Saleh Dunoma made this known as he played host to some of the candidates in his office.

The FAAN boss expressed appreciation for the patience and understanding shown by the applicants, adding that the seeming delay in inviting them for the interview earlier was because of the need to observe due diligence in the employment procedure.

Engineer Dunoma also added that successful candidates would be formally notified and invited in batches for training and documentation in line with international best practices for the employment of aviation security officers.
