AFRICA TO ADOPT SINGLE AIR TRANSPORT MARKET IN 2017

Interconnectivity restrictions in Africa are expected to be permanently resolved in 2017 as governments in the region plan to adopt a single air transport market in the new year. The move, which is already receiving the cooperation   of the world’s aviation regulatory agency, the International Civil Aviation Organisation, ICAO, is at the instance of the African Union, AU.
